The owner and founder of WTC Consult, John von der Wehl, has been working consciously since 2010 in his preferred branch of renewable energies in the sector WIND.

Initially as a Danish foreign trade merchant, later as an experienced export manager for technical products and finally for a small, but very traditional Danish ship engine and gear manufacturer, who specializes in the repair of gears for wind turbines, ​due to falling demand for slowly rotating ship engines for small ferries and fishing vessels. This laid the basic stone for WTC for the development of the European network for the procurement of main components for wind turbines and the experience was gained as a project manager for their exchange.

The companies WTC Consult and “CAR Beratungs- und Vertriebsgesellschaft-mbH” work together in partnership. Since the shareholders of C.A.R. GmbH also are managing directors of various wind farms, the WTC uses the company’s more than 20 years of experience as an operator of primarily wind turbines.
